On the afternoon of January 18th, 2024, a grand opening ceremony was held by Guangzhou Public Transport Group Co.,Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “GPT”) to celebrate the establishment of GPT Digital Technology Co., Ltd. on the 3rd floor of Donghu Square, No.33 Dashatou Road, Yuexiu District. The establishment of the enterprise marks that GPT has opened a new chapter in empowering the high-quality development of urban public transport with its intelligent transport technology.
Present at the opening ceremony were Li Xiaojun, President and General Manager of Guangzhou Public Transport Group, Xie Weixiu, Board Director and Chairman of the Labor Union, Zhang Haiyan, Deputy General Manager and General Counsel, as well as the leaders of the Science and Technology Division of the Department of Transport of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Transportation Bureau, Guangzhou State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Guangzhou Culture, Radio, Film, Television and Tourism Bureau, Guangzhou Government Service Data Administration, Guangzhou Human Resources and Social Security Data Service Center and other competent departments and associations in the industry. Digital Technology Co., Ltd was established to give full play to GPT’s intelligent transport technology and to increase efficiency for the high-quality development of urban public transport with digitalization.
